1)The sacrament.

Christ had ascended into Heaven and his disciples still afraid because they beleive in Him and they trust in Him, and they do not dare to spread the commission that they were responsable about, until the Pentecost when the Holy Spirit comes upon them as the Saviour had promised. By receiving the Holy Spirit, their vocation had been accomplished. And now, they understand all what they have not understood before about the Saviour's lessons. They feel a strength in their soul that they have never felt before, therefore following his command, they "witness to God in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth"(Acts 1,8).

This is the grace of the confirmation sacrament, that the disciples had received, and also those who had accepted the God's word, and they had been baptized in the name of the Lord (Acts 8,14/16). This word of God is "the grace of advice for the truth","the grace of witness"(Acts 5,32), the grace of the christian life's accomplishment.

Today, the church confirms the child after the baptism with the Holy Myron (Chrism)_ oil of strength_ and the praise of the Holy Spirit in order to prepare him with the light and the power of the Holy Spirit, understanding the christian duties and practicing them. One of these duties is the witness for Christ in acts and in words.

No one can be confirmed more than once, because the confirmation signs the soul for ever. The soul is chosen to serve Christ. If the person do everything right, she will be glorified, but if not, she will be blamed and condamned.

2) The confirmation's ceremony.

The confirmation is conceded to a child by signing his forehead three times by the name of the Glorious Trinity with the Holy Myron (Chrism), in the form of a cross.
